Ebred Reijnen has, in paralel with his afiliation with the Rotterdam Philharmonich Orchestra, gained a rich and diverse experience in a variety of music genres in and out-side of the Netherlands.
He is the musical leader and soloist of "EBRED STRINGS", a string group specialised in studio recordings and live conserts in the lighter music world. This session-musicians group consists of highly qualified string players (frequently collegues from the Rotterdam Philharmonic orchestra) that provide high quality and well praised musical entertainment tailored for the specific requirements of the situation.
You can appreciate Ebred playing solo on CD recordings of "EBRED STRINGS" as well as on recordings from a multitude of Dutch pop musicians. For instance, Ebred has provided his signature golden violin sound to five CDs featuring Rob de Nijs and has worked with Trijntje Oosterhuis, Rene Froger, Krezip just to mention a few.
"EBRED STRINGS" is a frequent guest of the major studios in Holland and from time to time also on TV shows. The styles embraced are Pop, Jazz, Tango, Heavy Metal and gipsy.and also on television shows.
